Pre-licensing education: The 75-hour Salesperson Prelicense Course at a Commission-approved school (qualifying college coursework or 75 hours approved in another state can substitute). Licensing exam: The licensing examination administered by PSI and approved by the Commission; apply for the license within twelve months of taking it. Sponsoring broker: To practice, you activate the license with a sponsoring broker, who signs the Sponsoring Broker Statement; otherwise the license can be held on inactive status. Your licensing authority is the Georgia Real Estate Commission.
