Read the renewal line before you pay

- A two-digit trial price often renews into a monthly-style charge every four weeks, which is 13 charges a year, not 12.
- Annual plans are usually paid upfront; a low per-month figure can hide a one-time charge for the year.
- Check whether the free tier lets you download a usable file, or only preview it.
- Note the refund window in days and set a reminder before it ends.
